User Experience Improvement Program

Overview

The BrowseHere User Experience Improvement Program (the "Program") is designed to collect data from your device to help us evaluate and enhance our products and services. This includes the collection of crash data for analysis. Please read and understand these terms before providing your consent.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by navigating to "Settings" > "Legal Information" > "User Experience Improvement Program."

Data Collection and Use

Upon your consent, the following data about your device and usage will be automatically collected and sent to TCL and our third-party service providers (such as Firebase and BrowseHere's own statistical servers) for analysis and product/service enhancement:

  1. Device Identifiers:

    • Advertising ID and other device IDs.

  2. Device and System Information:

    • Hardware details (e.g., model, brand, accessory models).
    • System specifics (e.g., country/region settings, system version).
    • Approximate city location derived from your IP address.

  3. Connection Information:

    • Network and Bluetooth status.
    • External device connection details.
    • Language settings.

  4. Usage Data:

    • Anonymized usage of BrowseHere functions, applications, and search services, including pages and domains visited, URLs, button clicks, time spent on pages, search keywords, service usage duration, and names/durations of videos played.
    • Crash Data: If an app or service crashes, relevant error data and logs (such as stack traces and device logs) will be sent to Firebase and BrowseHere's servers for troubleshooting and improvement purposes. This data is anonymized and does not allow for the identification of specific users.

\5. This information is used solely for analysis and to improve our products and services. TCL will not create a specific profile of your usage habits.

Data Retention

Data will be retained on our servers only as long as necessary for the intended collection purpose or to comply with legal requirements for data retention. After this period, or if we cease operation of the relevant products or services, we will stop retaining the data and proceed with its automatic deletion or anonymization.
